Title: Shark Evoline 3 Review
Post by: Streak on December 03, 2012, 09:58:08 PM
I thought I would put across my thoughts on the Shark Evoline 3.

Cost: $549 after our OzSTOC discount

Where From: Toowoomba Honda

Colour: White base/Black stripe (Teela calls it Storm Trooper)

I have done about 200km in my new Shark Evoline 3, and I have found it fantastic.

It is not as noisy as my KBC full face I had previously, the mechanism to flip the chin guard over the back is very smooth and easy to operate, and flipping it back is easy (make sure you use your left hand as it is much easier on that side), is a little tricky to click back into place the first couple of times

The internal tinted visor (Top Gun Style) Is very clear to see through even with the clear visor down also.

I rode at 100km with it as a full face, and as an open face, I was really impressed, behind the screen both where ideal.

This helmet fitted perfectly from the moment I put it on, firm, not to tight, but easy to get on and off.

It was very simple to fit my Sena SMH10 with the back plate, as it slid between the foam and the helmet easily, and you can use the unit as is, and the pads inside the helmets don't muffle the speakers at all.

Best helmet I have owned so far, 10 out of 10 is my rating  :thumb

Cheers
