just wondering how our friends from Tasmania are faring with the desarsterous fires happening down there

I know Barry (Couch) lives down on that peninsula.  At the very least he would have had a torrid time with the heat and most likely smoke.

I have a mate down there which I have text'd but I haven't heard back. I just hope it's the phone carriers not having signal vs him not been ok.

Its more than likely those fires have destroyed the mobile towers.

My Aunty runs Port Arthur and is trapped there with a bunch of tourists... but her "Friend" has a boat and took off from Hobart with it stocked full of supplies etc for them...Apparently all is well...

And for the Tassie forum members I hope you are all safe and well.
