I can relate to tha. It was so hot last week, that when I turned on the BBQ ( brfore lighting) the gas refused to come out . In fact the gas from the neighbous BBQ crawled into my tank cos it was cooler.

It was so hot here that my BBQ self ignited when I turned the gas on .  :p :p :p :crackup

not that it was needed while I was trying to figure out what had happened the meat cooked in the pan.  :grin :grin
