Hello Ladies & Gents,
For the life of the group we have always worked hard at keeping a level that is a step above the rest, and in doing so we have gained ourselves respect and credibility in the motorcycling world and with each other.
Over the last 6-8 Weeks we have dropped well below that standard, and we ALL have been Guilty of it, myself included. OzSTOC is not about anything that is controversial, not appropriate, Foul language, Nudity, Racism or other such nonsense
Quality over Quantity, if you have 7 jokes, and 1 is a ripper and the others are ok....post the ripper, and you will get maximum laugh's from the group, post the other 6 and you get the reaction of ha yea they were ok. Post something complelty over the top, and it will be deleted and we will let you know.
We have a Common Goals/Rules Section, that Brock, Myself, Saaz, & Diesel from time to time have to enforce to make everything runs smoothly, this is one of those times., we don't like doing this as it makes this become work, not the fun it is supposed to be for everyone.
We are not the Fun Police, but this is about the group, not the individual.
We want you to make the choice about if you think it is appropriate or not to post it, not putting in front of us to have to make the choice for you.... that's not what OzSTOC is about.
We have Common Goals/Rules, There is one line i would like to highlight:
"If you would not want your Children or Grand Children reading it, then it does not belong here"
In case there is any grey area is the link to the group Rules: http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=696.0 (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=696.0)
If you want to talk over anything i have said here, here is my phone number 0488 385 858, and i am happy to talk through any issue you might have, this is what we are about, be open and clear, so please call me.
Cheers

If you wouldnt be allowed to post a joke in the work place, then dont post it here.
Any post that goes too far will be deleted, with no explanation.

I agree with this. Lately it has become a chore to sift through 20 plus jokes posts to try and find some bike related posts that need more attention. There are better things to do, like thinking about organising rides :runyay (priority one apart form helping with advice) and actually riding myself (hmm..perhaps this is priority one :think1 )
There are holes in our forward calendar that need some rides put in...better get on to that :think1 so forward the ideas rather than jokes :thumbsup
Anyway, forward we go :wht11
