Goodonya Pete - lookin forward to another new friend at the SEQld OzSTOC events.
You are in for a treat with the Gold Coast Hinterland roads - few will disagree they are some of the best riding roads in the world! (along with Tassie - of course!)

Not a truer word has been spoken Diesel..........the roads of the Gold Coast (and the Sunshine Coast) Hinterlands, along with Tassie roads are pretty hard to beat!

Haha................give it time Pete.................if you don't mind the humidity, then Queenslands' a great place to live.
I lived in and around Brisbane for 40 years.............I was an avid water skier, sailer, wind surfer, beach camper.......in fact, an all round lover of the sun and outdoors...............the only reason we left Qld was because my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and needed to live in a cooler climate due to heat stress.
I have to say though..............moving to Tassie is a decision we've never regretted...............for a number of reasons!
I still have family members (3 sons and 6 grand kids), living in Brissie, one of them lives at Eagleby and rides a new CBR 600.
I hope you love Queensland as much as I did.
PS: I can still bend a mean banana!!
