It's a very windy rainy day here...
Colgate has created a very ingenious advertising campaign to promote their dental floss, but before I explain to you the main detail of these images, I will let you appreciate them quietly...

Alright, now that you had time to quietly observe the images, in the first one you will now notice
that she has one finger too many in her hand, in the second one a phantom arm is floating there,
and in the third one the man has only one ear.
The campaign attained its purpose, because it proved that food remains on your teeth draw more
attention than any physical defect.
Still feel smart? :p

Never underestimate the power of suggestion!
I love adverts that say, usually in bold letters, "50% better"...50% better than what? or the real doozy is the "Clinically Proven to...", clinically proven how? under what conditions, and with how big a sample size? I saw one the other day for some face cream or other that said it was "...clinically proven to reduce the visible signs of aging", then in VERY small letters about three scenes later it said that this was demonstrated on 9 women...world wide!!!, but failed to say how many women in total were tested. They could have tried on 900,000 women for all we know. And just what are the "visible signs of aging" and just how do you measure a reduction in these signs.
I trust the wording that I hear in adverts at just slightly better than I trust the words that come out of any politicians mouth. How do you know when a politician or an advertising person is lying?, his mouth is moving!

It's getting to the point now where we have 15 channels of 80 percent rubbish on TV and in some cases the ads are now better than the programs.
