Title: Assistance required from anyone in perth - looking for photo shot at Kings park
Post by: tj189 on February 15, 2013, 06:51:52 PM
Hi, I am in the planning stages for a ride and am looking for somewhere in Kings Park where I can park the bike and get a shot of it and the Perth city skyline.  Are there times when the park is closed?
Thanks in advance for you support

Kings Park doesnt close, its has a network of public roads. The park overlooks the city and the swan river.

These pics are a few years old.

If you download this map,

http://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/kings-park/maps/facilities (http://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/kings-park/maps/facilities)

To get the Perth Sky Line you need to enter from Kings Park Rd down Fraser Avenue to somewhere near the Fraser Avenue Precinct/State War Memorial on the right hand side of the map.
