Morning all, my clock on my ST1100 keeps resetting after I turn the key off and back on an hour later? Any thoughts to as why?

daylight saving just ended :rofl

Sounds like the battery is on the way out.

My ST1300 did a similar thing, and the battery was totally shot. All of my displays reset every time I turned the bike off, and it barely had the capacity to turn over the engine.

I agree check the battery my 13 was doing the same thing only everything would reset (except the odometer)

Hmm well I hope it gets me to Middleton, I can work the rest out from there...

Well if you had done the jumper lead mod (and the other guys as well) you would only need one good battery to start all bikes in the morning..
o:)

My ST1100 clock works fine when the ignition is turned off.
Start the bike and the clock stops, or at least the display disappears.

Check your battery voltage "at rest" to se if it's OK. Shall I bring a mulitmeter? If you need a new battery, there's a bike shop a just few kilometers from Middleton. I'm having the same problem in my Jaguar, clock keeps resetting. Do you think the ST is jealous and making it happen? I'm sure these two talk to each other when parked together in the garage.
