G'day all, I'm from the Lake Macquarie area and recently bought a 2004 ST1300 which is my first Honda since a K2 750 back in the early 70s. I've had a lot of bikes in the past such as a Kawasaki Z1 900, Yamaha XS 1100, BMW R1100RT. Really love the feel of this bike and looking forward to a lot of touring miles and reading about the travels of other members.

Welcome to the fray. Have a look at the member map (tab at top of page). There's a handful of members in your vicinity. Was a Novocastrian myself years ago. Rode a Suzuki 80 around the city and the Lake.
