S.E QLD RTE Christmas Party BBQ Lunch 8th of December 2013

Time: 11.30am

Information:

We are having our Christmas party similar to what we did last year, this one is not bike orientated, your more than welcome to bring the family and the car (strangly though not many cars came last year  )

Diesel and I are planning on bringing the meat and bread rolls & Tomato Sauce, if you want to bring something to compliment what we are bringing you are more than welcome to!

please indicate if you want to come along, it is a great afternoon to have a laugh a cold drink or two, a feed and be social  :thumb

Hi Streak/Diesel,

Haven't seen you guys for a long time so hope all is going well with you both.

Unfortunately we will be out of town on the 8th December so hope all you guys and gals have a fun afternoon. WE will be back in town late Sunday so figure you will all be home feeling the effects of food, drink and sun by then.

Wish you all a great time, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and all being well, we will join you for a few rides after that.

Streak got him signed up to the forum site yesterday, I think, and I posted his acceptance on his PC.
He'll get there though cause he's not stupid, he used to be a bus driver.

By the look of the bare posting, it could have been anyone who did a Google search on "party + Brisbane" and wrote self-invitations to them all.

Guys, in a regrettable situation, neither Streak nor myself can attend this event.     :'(

What makes it worse is that I was getting all the BBQ food and equipment ready.       :||||

The only offering I have is that this party is now a B.Y.O. everything - including cooking utensils, drinks etc.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but I have been at home in bed, sick for the last two days and am not well enough to attend or do the running around with food etc.

I will send a PM to each of the attendees to make sure they come prepared.

Guess I'll have to make up for it with a special RTE in the new year.       :thumbsup

it is now a BYO event, as i have to work and diesel sick as a dog, so we will miss the first Xmas event in 3 years, not happy, but thems the breaks...

The Event is still on peoples, i have spoken to a few people who are simply bringing their own gear, there are BBQ's there, so don't steer away! make sure you go along :)

it is going to be kind of strange not being at the XMAS event i have not missed on yet.....

After I found the correct end of the Park I had a great time catching up and chatting to everyone and   :eat .

My timing for leaving was perfect.  I walked in the door just as the V8 Supercars were lining up on the Grid for the Warm up lap of the last race of the year.  :thumb
