Title: New Member from Inverloch Victoria
Post by: trishc on April 19, 2013, 01:57:25 PM: Hi All, I am a new member from Inverloch Victoria. I am looking at purchasing a ST1100 for my husband. We are going to have a look at one in Melbourne this weekend. 1997 had 123K for $4000.00 Thought i should join this group to gain my information on this bike. My husband currently rides a Honda CBR250 and I currently ride a Honda 2008 600 SWing. This seems to be a great group with lots of helpful information.

I trust that your search for a good ST goes well, and you'll find lots of information and advice from those that live here. You may even be able to get one of the Victorians to have a look at the bike with you. Post a message under General Discussion and see who bobs up. Inverloch is a beaut part of the country and I've ridden the lovely Inverloch to Cape Patterson Road several times when I've been over your way

Good luck and hope you find the right bike.

Just be aware of the two 1100 models.......the standard and the A model. A = ABS,CBS,TCS.

At around 150,000kms the timing belt needs to be replaced......good time to do the cooling hoses well.
