Have a good time over there.  Amazing how you can discuss some things, like motorcycles, without necessarily understanding the language.

There's so much about the STs that can be said with a wide grin, pointing, looking comfortable and making purring noises.

One of our neighbours has recently returned from holidaying in Thailand.

Not sure of exactly where he visited but very few traffic lights and from what he could see: it all worked.

In the outer areas of Thailand, traffic lights appear to be advisory, unless there is a cop there. Driving on the wrong side of the road over taking two wide into oncoming traffic is ok, even expected. At the same time, bikes and even cars and trucks will be slowly approaching in the left shoulder. And that is on a 4 mtr wide road, the major rides are even crazier.

Now I have to try and readjust for Oz driving
