G'day all - just found out about OxSTOC from an article in Road Rider and it's great to find a club just for us.
I have a 2011 ST1300 and it is without a doubt the best bike I have ever owned. I reckon I'm cornering faster on the ST than my Bandit. My wife has a Suzuki Boulevard - hopefully she can join in our rides, even if she has to hide at the back?
I've been riding for many years and I used to be a Ridersafe instructor (until my day FIFO job got in the way) so forgive me if I sometimes offer constructive suggestions on riding...
Looking forward to catching up with you all in the future.
Chatty

Hi and welcome Chatty
Great to have you on board.
Not to worry about the Boulevard, my wife rides one as well a C50T 2011 model. No need to be at the back of the pack everybody's welcome in OzSTOC.
We regularly have a Yamy and a Kwaka join us for RTE's in our little Far North Queensland Group.
To quote one of our members..." Its all about the coffee..... Is that right ST2UP.....

Hi Chatty good to hear from you. We worked together at the Murray Bridge Ridersafe range a few years ago till I moved on. You'll love the ST. I bought a 2004 a couple of months ago, traded the blackbird and hav'nt looked back. I will probably see you on a run in the near future.
Jim.

Hi Chatty and welcome to OzSTOC from another South Aussie. ( I see from the Members Map that you are just 4km from my place) Enjoy all that the Club and Forum has to offer. Just got back from a cold and wet week away on the bike.
-
Welcome Chatty. What do you do and where, to be a FIFO?
-
Good to see the Road Rider article garnering a new member!
But you have to stop calling us OxSTOC. That's another mob!
As a Ride Instructor you will be able to conduct our first training day that we've fantasised about occasionally. :thumbs
Maybe in Ballarat?
-
Welcome aboard Chatty, you have a great Ozstoc crew in SA.
Cheers
David

G'day Chatty - great to have you at the party!
As you know, we were just in SA recently and really loved the place.
I took the Barossa/Hahndorf route home and had an absolute blast.
We'd value your opinion (like all others) on some of our safety gear threads of old - and while you're there, help yourself to the scads of info and advice on maintenance and great places to visit.
Hope to see Trish and yourself in some group ride pics real soon.
Cheers, Diesel
