Looks like we can only blame ourselves 80% of the time according to this report...

Surprised to read mainly 25-40 year olds most at risk, as with those who have had bikes less than 6 months.
Cheers, Diesel

Lucky I am 56 and not 25 -40 years old. :grin
We must be the sensible ones :thumb :thumb :runyay

It depends on what they're looking at.
If you're just looking at bikes alone with no other vehicles, pedestrians etc involved then that figure may well be true.
-
Don't think I will be buying a bike from WA. With 92,000 bikes and 302,000 riders all bikes would have been ridden by at least three people, possibly all at once. :eek

The article is flawed.
All the dead bike riders had traffic records :- What vehicles were being used at the time of the offence??
Most had drugs or alcohol in their system????
Were these fatalities single vehicle incidents or mixed???
and the list goes on.
90% of stats are made up.

Of course it is Brock, wouldn't be a real news story otherwise. Aus media, the most (un)trueful in oz.

Agree STeveo, can't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Unregistered bikes seem to figure highly (trail bikes?)
And I have told you a million time Brock not to exagerate :rofl
