Streak if it gets to the stage we need a neck warmer, we have one each.....quiet expensive but have a thermostat to adjust the temperature.....made by a mob called Toyota :eek
But if we do venture out, we use if needed, the DriRider polar fleece ones at about $20 ea.......but if you where serious about them ?? Same as thermals, go for Merino for all the same reasons Merino thermals are the pick......there is a company at Forbes NSW who make them, about $30 each.

I have one of these http://www.mybuff.com.au/products/original-buff/ (http://www.mybuff.com.au/products/original-buff/) (not the pink one)
It can easily stuff into a pocket, bunches nicely around your neck, and can be worn like a balaclava under your helmet.

A bloke I work with just bought one for $10.00 form MCA and he got what he paid for.
Chris have the email address of the company you talk about in Forbes.
I need one for Ebor (Handsome St George may need one as well) for our adventure.
Cheers

Yeah,
I've got one of these. They're a thin material so it doesn't choke you or restrict movement when worn, as I've had with thicker ones, and really keeps the cold air out. Very happy with mine.

You don't need one with that beard (there's an idea; grow a beard and save some money!)
