A funny thing happened at the Toy Run in Perth a few weeks ago; I bumped into this dodgy looking character, Brock I think he calls himself, and he gave me this Ozstoc card, so here I am.
I have been riding for more years than I can remember and have had a number of bikes. I've had a '98 1100 ex police for about 7 years now, resprayed, dual seat and Eagle screen, it's done about 90k kms and still running strong. Its the best bike I've had.
I also have a '72 Honda CB450 that I've had for about 30 years; a few years ago after it was recovered from being stolen and damaged, I restored it from the ground up and now keep it as a classic.
I'm a retired radio and electronics tech and enjoy all things technical and mechanical.
I've been living in Bassendean for the past 30 odd years.
Thats me done for now.
Cheers

Geoff,
Was it you I was talking to at the light place on Guildford Road a couple of months ago?
It sounds like you and the bike is the spitting image.
Either way, WELCOME. :hatwave
Order a shirt and come on the next ride cause it sounds like the Banana-benders need to be taught a lesson on how to organise an OzSTOC meeting and we are just the people to teach them. :well
LONG LIVE THE WEST (and its World Record) :runyay
Is them fighting words or is them fighting words? :cuss :cuss

Gee, ex police 1100, retired radio and ectronics tech, sounds like Brock 2. Welcome oddjob. The CB 450 looks nice, I remember having a ride of a friends 350 Honda of that vintage and thinking how hard I had to hold on to the handle bars as it accelerated fairly hard for those days.

Thanks all for the welcome.
Dave, indeed it was I who spoke with you at the LED shop in Bayswater. I still haven't done anything yet about clearance lights, it's on the list of things to be done.
Looking forward to meeting a few more fellow dodgy characters.

Thanks to Diesel and the "missing in action" Streak for organising the get together on Sunday. Nice to meet a few new faces. Hope you're felling better Streak.

Light Hearted ! Is that what you regard it as ?

Not to many roads up north and what there is you need an ST to make some of the fuel stops especially if you're prone to 110kms/hr plus........ :law
