Title: speeding
Post by: IanB on December 19, 2011, 08:12:44 AM
Found a place to go speeding right in suburbia.
After the Qld bbq yesterday had to go back into town and pick up the forgotten camera.
Turned off the gateway into boondall entertainment centre road just as a cop on a brand new ST did the same.
Couldn't catch him through the three huge roundabouts and 100klicks in a 60 zone. He was on white lightning.
Caught up with him at a set of traffic lights and yes he really likes his new bike. Much better than his BMW.
Asked abt the mirror mounts for his red and blues and they come with the bike from honda. Only bit the police add are the radio aerials etc.
Biggest shock at the lights was when he lifted his helmet front. Don't think he was old enough to shave.

They put em back to work, you see pairs stopped and running radar in places you cant put a camera. Seem to quite a few young Guys n Girls on em. Hope Dave has told em to leave the old STs alone....

WA Police have lifted the two police on patrol rule during certain hours during the day which has allowed them to put more bikes on the road so I think the plan is to keep them.

Having spent around four years around Karratha and Port Hedland and riding back home to SA  a few times one could almost guarantee an ex 1100 cop would pull you up for the breatherliser and a two minute stop would last 10 minutes.
