I was born in Queensland, and grew up in W.A, and have lived there for yonks. (As well as Adelaide and Darwin)  :whistle :whistle

I would rather watch the State of Origin on here than the tele........lost the faith in League along time ago, it's not about the Footy anymore in my eye's. :popcorn

Makes it so much harder to win when you are playing 13 on 17, i.e. add the 4 guys in white adjudicating to the NSW team. But we will. And Gallen. Getting one week.
Wow. Despite the obvious bias of the Refs, NSW did deserve to win, although the Haine try came off the back of a pathetic knock on decision.

I was going for Qld even tho born in NSW. Played my senior footy up there and watched games at "Lang Park" b4 origin started. So unfair then with Beetson playing 4 NSW. Even these days Qld has 1/4 of the player count to choose from.

They'll come back when Thurston is 100% and Greg Inglis switches on for the whole game. The refereeing is sometimes embarrassing to watch. NSW will play better without Gallen tho. I think Daley told him to sacrifice his next game to stir up NSW's will to win in QLD (where they are not expected to win). Those punches were cheap unprovoked shots. He should have been tossed out for the series.

I loved League when it was played by tough men of all sizes and skills in positions like lock, 5/8, inside-centre, outside centre, hooker etc - all specialised skills. Now we're heading to abnormally large men who can barely sidestep, dummy, cut-out pass, swerve, head-on tackle or take an opponent over the sideline with an ankle tackle.

Qld still have some of those qualities, more so than NSW I think. But the game's buggered anyway methinks. Still like watching origin tho. :hatwave
