I was thinking how much being part of the club, and having the ST has changed how I do things and habits I have gotten into over the last couple of years, and then my phones alert went off and the below popped up on my screen:

Which made me think....how OzSTOC/ST obsessed are you? What habits have you gotten into?
-
Well I was the first to reply to your thread so does that answer the question on obsession :grin :grin
-
Not as obsessed as the gpz900r club i have around 2700 posts there, :rofl :roflStill im working on it.

Not at all.....now how long before my OzSTOC order turns up? I'm getting tired and cold waiting at the letter box... :o
-
Yep, I get the eBay notifications and I'm on the forum at least 3 times a day. :popcorn

I have found I am now riding or driving to strange destinations to meet up with strange people only to have them same strange people stalk me at my place. I also am wearing a bright badge on all my items of clothing which now only comes from one store. I have also developed this strange habit of placing a card on every unguarded ST without a bright sticker just to make sure we get another strange person on board so we can visit them. I also cant help but seek out new ways to farkle my ST so I can get around more of this country. I no longer talk to my wife unless she is also on the website forum and spend large amounts of time on the interweb sharing and receiving info, jokes, farkling, photos etc:eek :o
Nope - Nothing strange there and no real habits come to mind :whistle :grin but life has certainly changed for the better with some very good like minded friends all over this country now and some great times and kilometres under the belt and plenty more to come :thumbsup :grin

-
Not at all,
I only log in once a day (0600 - 2130), read every post and comment on a few. Dont have any ebay notifications

It's cold at the letter box on the footpath in the street....... It's a cold and chilly night in Townsville.. Some say it may go under 20 degrees tonight, can you imagine that???? It'll be bloody snowing next...
So I ordered some stuff from streak a week or so ago and I'm out here at the letter box, post box or what ever you cockroaches call em down there waiting for my order... So no... I'm not obsessed with OzSTOC... Oh and does anyone know when the OzSTOC cereal is hitting the shops?
And one more thing Tony, we may be slow in Queensland, (not really) but a least we can play football...(sorry low blow I know)
-
Tony, your behavioural patterns lead me to believe you are turning into a mad genius hell bent on dominating the motorcycle world .
We are not worthy oh mighty one :-++
As for sabie , he get's cold whilst banana bending - you don't want to know what happens when the ambient temperature dip's below 17 ° C :eek

Well Mr Fox, I throw the bent ones away, I like a straight Banana, I'm not eating defective fruit, especially the ones from Woolworths. :p

Oh the Humanity - my eye's can't un-see the thing's i have seen :fp *
Beside's you have a fresh produce DC in Townsville.
I think we send the prod we get from North Qld back up there :grin
* For the benefit of the tape The Silver Fox is indicating unequivocally that he is JOKING :rofl

I haven't been on the forum for 3 days. So I can't be obsessed. Won't be on for a while in 2 weeks time either.. But I suppose I have/will be hanging out mostly with other Ozstoc members out in the real world :think1 until the next FarRide at least :wht11
-
Ok I a, that obsessed tht I ride past a random cafe, hint "ohhh that looks promising" make point of turning around going in taking photos, seeing how many to seat, have a coffee to test the quality, and ring diesel and have a 5 min conversation on how good this place looks for an RTE!
-
Just a little bit

Nope. Operations normal. Just check in once a day to put in the Library excerpt, read all the new posts, comment on one or two if relevant and click the browser tab open and refresh any time I come back to the 'puter. But I would save the term "obsessed" for doing what Streak does. And Brock. And Pockey. Well, Tony, too I guess. Definitely Sabie. Probably Diesel. Yeah... everyone else. Rex, Tipsy etc etc...
-
Biggles, I am not obsessed..... Spending 23 out of every 24 hours on this site is not obsessed.... Now if I spent those hours while sitting on my ST while parked in the shed under its comforter and doona..... Well....that might be borderline obsessive..... :runyay
-
See if I have any of the afore mentioned criteria ...
I check this site on a daily basis
I check out both 11 &1300's on all online sales points
I enlist any ST pilot I encounter where ever I am in Oz
I leave OzSToc cards on every ST I see privately own or in the bike shops
..... the odd thing is I don't ride or own an ST..
Me thins I need to seek professional help... Nurse... Oh nurse!!!
-

-
No Brian... Taken the wrong way...you ride an honorary ST1800 ... It's a hybrid ST out of the same stable.
-
We haven't had net access since 8 am this morning. ISP said it was a state wide thing but we even had to have our modem reset to get back on line.
Where is the first page I come to? OzStoc.
Am I Obsessed? I don't know, I only log on about three to five times a day
-
:rockon My names ST2UP and I'm a ST stalker....... I was getting better on my own :thumb. But then I joined a therapy group to deal with my problems......the group is called OzSToc......I think they are brain washing me into submission !!!!! :nahnah

If a couple times a day is obsessed then yea I guess I could be :rofl
-
Mrs RexJ (Claire) and I used to sit in front of the TV watching English murder mysteries (Morse, Lewis, etc), and drinking red wine.
Now I do my study at night and follow my addiction, that I deny, trawling the internet, (with a larger glass of Aus Red) :popcorn looking at motor bicycles of an ST kind globally, and end up here at home on OzSTOC. :thumbs
I call it therapy. I look at the news, politics etc, and I need it. :crazy
Thank you fellow therapy recipients. :-++

All I can say Rex is ..... "Thank God for Wireless Internet, otherwise I'd spend all my time in the Home Office." :thumb

Pssssst I think ST2UP is an OzSToc tragic !!! :crackup
He is having made a custom made mountain bike with all this fancy stuff that I don't understand, AND when he had to pick the colours he went with black and orange then muttered same as the OzSToc colours.
That must make him OzSTOC obsessed :nahnah
Don't tell him I dobbed him in :p :p
Pockey :grin
-
No Pockey, that's not. Obsessed ... That's just good old plane NUTS !!!!
I've placed a call for you, you poor thing, some Men in White coats should arrive soon...
