:thumbs No rules, we just make our own way to the destination. Some of the guy's organise between themselves to ride together, totally up to you.

For the overniters most of us get to the destination for lunch as well, then stay the nite. For our regular RTE's there is usually a rough time given to be there for the breakfast or lunch as it will have been organised with the venue.  :eat

Pezz,

The nature of this beast, is getting to the destination. Usually, some one will say  a place they are going past, at HH time, and who wants to meet.

So either you can nominate a place n time that suits you, go it alone or wait to see what happens.

If you want some company on the way up I can swing through York on the way up and grab a drink at the triumph café. Was thinking of either going up or coming back as a long way round. Half planned straight run there then back visa Wylie and Toodyay but prefer to ride with others so happy to meet in York.

morning gents/ladies

Pencil me in for attending please.

Winter should have finished by then so I'm considering my new biker swag and small tent i got for my birthday a couple of years ago.
Swag is still in the original box so it will be a good exercise in opening the box and seeing if i need anything else to go with it.

Thanks Graham;

Good news is that he is talking and cracks the occasional joke about being kept in the same position for over 8 hrs.

Totally deaf in one ear and leaking a bit of clear fluid from the ear but hospital staff don't seem too concerned at this stage.

No bike riding for him for a while.

Bikes from left to right.

Me (Brock), STRay, Pezz and Sue.

Yorkie turned up just in time for lunch after a long (70K) ride.

After a feed and a chat, I departed at about 1315 and headed for home. On the way down the hill I saw a pair of STs struggling up the hill towing mobile homes.

It was a pleasant day, with good food and company. It was good to meet Pezz and Sue, and a bunch of cards were handed over. Glens harness was also left in rays care, for passing on.

For those un aware of the origins of the Ettamogah Pub, It was featured in a cartoon series by Ken Maynard in the Australian Post magazine.

The original pub was built near Albury NSW around 1989.

Well  the afternoon shift, consisting of Noel, Malcolm, Mitch and myself, arrived about 3.00 pm to keep Ray company for the overnight stage.
After rearranging our accommodation (thanks Ray), admiration of Rays new Black ST, lots of ST and general bike discussion at the caravan park Malcolm remained to establish the fire and cook his lamb the rest of us walked up to the pub for pre dinner drinks and dinner. We then returned to the caravan park and Malcolm's latest mobile fire place to party late into the night (well at least 10pm)
By sun up Sunday morning Ray was long gone and the remainder of us set off home in heavy fog.
Another successful very informal WA OzSTOC event. For me 355 kms.
This photo taken while Malcolm was off looking for more firewood

Mal & I had a leisurely ride to Cunderdin on our Vastly superior ST1300's that have the power to pull our trailers with all sorts of essentials that you need on an overnight stay.
Saw a white non trailer pulling 1100 with the rider wearing a Flouro vest was almost blinding it turned out it was Brock on the way back home but we waved anyway  o:)
A good time was had by all & yes it was a foggy ride back this morn.
I went to the first Ettamogah Pub on Melb Cup Day 1987 just after it opened was good to see this one tho it is a bit different

I managed 5.64, or 17.72 Ks per Litre. Best I've had was 4.18 L/100K (23.9 Ks per Litre)

Sitting on flat ground at a steady 110 Ks, then 4.5 L /100 Ks is achievable. Twist the wrist a little, and the ecconomy starts to drop off
