What the hell is the Wall 2 Wall?
For the last couple of years Police from around Australia gather about two or three weeks before the official Police Remembrance date (usually around 29/09) in Canberra after riding from their home State with a baton engraved with names of officers fallen during the previous year. This baton is escorted by a Senior Officer from the home State and flanked by riders as an escort, and social ride to remember those who aren't standing on the line with us anymore.
You can register at the below address for $50 each (which goes to the Police Legacy in your home State).

Open to serving and retired members (sworn and unsworn) and all other friends, family and proud supporters of policing, the ride is not only a wonderful commemoration of service and sacrifice , but also a fantastic social event for enthusiastic motor cyclists across Australia in celebration of the police family.
I will be there taking photos again and would love to meet up with riders from oZSTOC to say gidday to those we don't usually meet due to distance/finances/etc.
Thanks for reading.

Anyone interested in joining us for the last bit into Canberra? I am planning on meeting up with Tackleberry at Heathcote McDonalds at about 7.30 on the Saturday morning. Not eating the crap, just meeting there.

So far there are 1367 riders registered for the Wall to Wall ride.
It'll be the biggest group ride I've been on.

I'll be there, riding Canberra memorial to Goulburn and back to the Canberra memorial. I have ridden every one of these..
Hope to see plenty of ST's on the day..
Cheers,

The WA contingent left last Saturday, to be eligible $5000 had to be raised before registration and the rider foots the bill for all expenses.
I thought that was a bit steep.

Qld main group hit Port Macquarie tonight. Unfortunately an ex-police ST1100 blew the motor. Over 1500 bikes registered for Canberra. I'll try to get a photo of all of the bikes together and post it when I get back home.

And VERY RARE too.

Arrived all well. Met Tackleberry and rode through Macquarie Pass with a big oil slick and massive fog. The broken ST1100 appears to have only suffering blown radiator hoses. Something about they are prone to fuel leaking and perishing them. Return trip in the morning. Off to Guyra to see ST2UP on Monday.
