I commented on your Facebook page, but for anyone else, this is a very nice ride.  It's a good quality seal all the way through farming country.  It's mostly open country with some "forest" areas.  Not much by way of sweepers, but not too boring either.
I did it when I did my 1000 kays for the FarRide RTE at Bargara 8th June.
Mundubbera and Gayndah are both interesting country towns.  Spend some money in Mundy because they had a terrible flood through there in January.

A couple of years ago I was travelling between Ayr and Warwick on a very regular basis ( every couple of weeks - long story). The trip took me through Crows Nest and then I turned off on the Kingaroy - Cooyar Rd through Maidenwell and up to Nanango. This bypasses Yarramin adding a more interesting view. I turned off at Ban Ban Springs but the trip to Gayndah from memory isn't too bad.

Just an alternative.

It is a good road and will be a good ride as I do it occasionally in the truck with work  :thumb
