Hi Guys . Just picked up the new love of my life , 2008 ST1300 . Looking to find info on handlebar risers when I came across OzSTOC site . I hail from Capalaba , Queensland . Ride with Redlands Ulysses Wednesday group . Had an ST1100 X police bike which I wrote off on the way to the GP on Phillip island a couple of years back . Love the ST's . So pleased the wife finally gave in to me getting another. Looking forward to exploring the site and possibly meeting up with some of you guys. Also have a 2004 BMW F650GS (DAKAR).

Welcome aboard Jonvos. I fitted a pair of Helibars with a ram ball mount on my ST1300. I picked it up from Mick Hone Motorcycles in Melbourne and it has made a huge improvement to the riding position. I'm over 6 feet and now I don't have any weight on my wrist or strain on my back.

Gee! Thanks guys for the great welcome . Would love to join you Streak on the ride and lunch at Esk Bakery , unfortunately , grandkid sitting duties. Thank you also guys for the suggestions on the heli bars risers . What did they end up setting you back Sean and did you have any dramas fitting it?

There currently on his webpage for $240. You may do better on ebay, but there wasn't much in it when I bought mine. The only problem I had was getting the allen bolts undone. I lost most of my tools in the divorce. I went to my firendly dealer and for a slab they fitted them for me. I'm sure someone my be able to help. I strongly recommend getting a Ram ball mount as they have so many uses.
