Well, as the doctors have now banned me from either driving or riding for 12 months because of my recent brain surgery, I am being forced to put my beloved Red, 2004, ST 1300, with 52,385K's on the clock on the market, otherwise she will rot away before I get to take her out again. It has a bunch of extras which I will detail (as long as I can remember them all);
Helibar Risers (with Powersocket and mounting ball)
Dash Shelf (with)
GME TX4600 UHF Transmitter/Receiver (with Mic connector and Tx Key)
Rear UHF Antenna
TomTom GPS Navigator
IiPhone Mount
Charge Guard Voltage/Current/Temperature Monitor
John Moorehouse modified Seat
Starcomm Advance 1 Intercom System with Bluetooth controls
Audio/Illuminated Theft/Movement Alarm
Indicator LED Repeaters in both rear-view mirrors
Three-connector power socket (and USB Connector) in right-hand side pocket
LED Side Light Strips on rear Top Box (both sides) with connectors to allow for removal of the Top Box
LED Indicator Light Strips on rear Top Box (both sides) with connectors to allow for removal of the Top Box
Light Reflector panels on rear sides of both side boxes
ST1300 Quartet Harness installed.
Battery Charger power socket under the seat
Fairing Edge Deflectors (left and right)
I am looking for $9,500 and am really looking for a good home for her to go to, so can anyone help, please?

:'( :'( that's a real shame Paul

Whizz if you still have the stock seat I'll take the Moorehouse off your hands... or I'll send you my stock
-
I guess this took some serious soul searching :-[ Good luck with the sale mate :wink1
-
What a shame....
Some times life is so unfair.
Wish I had the money, I would fly over and get it, even if it is red..
-
Hi Brock, if it is just a matter of dollars tell me how much you can afford and I'll see if we can do a deal...how's that???, I'd prefer the old girl to go to a well-respected home rather than be driven by the mighty dollar!
-
That's a tough reality check Paul, and I hope you will find a good home for your ST.
-
It's a shame Whizz, I hope it goes to a good home.
Any 1100 owners who would like to upgrade, this is your opportunity... It won't get any better than that.
I know STill Dreaming was wanting a red one when he was ready.
-
That's an brilliant buy for anyone with all those farkles! The asking price is very fair for the bike alone, and there are hundreds of dollars of extras and many hours of time put into installing all of them.
Come on STOCers, keep this one in the family!
-
Whizz, a great offer mate, but at the moment I have about $50.00 to my name, and the usual end of year bills to pay..
Unless i win lotto tonight that is..
-
Hey Brock, never mind, it was worth the question. :thumbs

If I was not committed to going in a different direction, I would be on this like a flash.

If I was not committed to going in a different direction
I hope this isn't an early hint you're leaving the True Believers!
Beware the initials BMW, GTR and FJR. No good will come of it. :-(((
-
I will still have an ST :beer and it seems like I have to die to leave here...

Well I got a call from a bloke who was interested in my ST, he came over this afternoon and, to cut a long story short, he has bought it. He took it for a ride around some of the local roads and was obviously very happy with it, so we just talked money, came to a deal and he gave me a deposit.
Can anyone tell me if they know of a bike inspector in or close to Ipswich who can come over and give me the necessary signed paperwork for the sale?, hopefully latter this week so the buyer can come and pick it up on Sunday.
I also tried to get the chap to look at joining OzSTOC as a new member, he seemed somewhat put off by the Ulysses Club but after I explained about us being far more ride-oriented rather than politically oriented he seemed more happy, so hopefully he will come along and join up.
Anyway, come this weekend I won't have a bike for at least the next 8 months, sorry guys!!!
-
A good outcome given the circumstances. I am sure I will see you on the road on a bike in the future :thumbs

Very pleased you finally found a buyer.
I think you'll have to phone around the bike shops in Ippy. Tell them the circumstances and find one that will do a RWC at your place. There are fellows who advertise that they do it for cars, I know.

Excellent (in a way) news
-
Commiserations Whizz..... But look at it this way.... When the next generation ST is released you'll be free to go down and pick one up and be the first in the club with one...... :clap
-
Glad to see you've sold it mate
-
Congratulations and commiserations Whizz :'( :thumbsup
Hopefully you'll have the 8 months fly bye and be back on a new bike before you know it :runyay
