Hi OzSTOCers
Can someone point me in the right direction.
I'm chasing a cap to wear under my helmet, I don't want a woollen one as its too hot up here. Looking for a nice cotton cap or similar, and don't really want a bandana either.
So if you know of a shop or on-line store can you let me know here.
Thanks everyone
Sabie

What's wrong with my hair? Why would I need extensions?? I'm not from Jamacia man.
Nah just want a skull cap for a bit of comfort while wearing the helmet. I noticed in your T-Shirt photo you've got a bit of the old Ned Kelly look going on there..... It's a different look than the one you had at Middleton....

You're looking more like him every day. When are you getting the Royal Enfield?

That's a flying Royal Enfield too.

Sabie, Silver Eagle do a microfibre skull cap. My wife has one, but doesn't use it that often. See the link below.

That's very pretty Pockey, would go quite nicely with my jacket :grin

What you're after is welding cap.
Go to a welding supply store.
There are many types, some look like a baseball cap with the peak but others are thin cotton and without the peak......they're also not adjustable at all.
-
Could be a polypropylene cap or beanie you're after. Something like this: http://www.macpac.com.au/ppro-beanie.html (http://www.macpac.com.au/ppro-beanie.html)
I've seen something similar in Snowgum and Kathmandu down this way.

Thanks guys, some good leads there, I like the idea of the welding supplies I'll check out the local ones on Monday.
Sorry Pockey, it's just not my colour so I'll let Wendy have dibs on that one. I think because I've little hair left (around 3 hairs I think) and the lining of the Helmet has lost all compression, the Helmet gives me a headache and a sort forehead after a little while. I think I may have sourced a Shark Evoline 3 for under $500 on the Sunshine Coast.

Hey Sabie, I'd get rid of those 3 hairs and "Bobs your uncle", you should never have another problem! :grin

I agree with Malcolm............ I got one from LD, I shave my hair (Well, what's left of it anyway) and the head sweats quite a lot on hot days. You can wet the LD ones and the air blowing through the helmet keeps the head very cool. Stops smelly helmet problems. Great product.

Michael,
Head to the Strand markets and there is a stall that sells the one piece that Pockie threw up in a heap of ranges for only a couple of bucks. Will get you brownie points with Pauline also for taking her out.
