I have just sat back and watched this with my mouth open and my breath stopped!!!. It is an absolutely fascinating and brilliant short video about something that is mind-boggling and truly amazing!!!! Well done for finding this and allowing me to be so impressed with the intelligence of the original designers.

Cheers

Human intelligence at its finest.  A programmable mechanical writing automaton! 6000 parts.  Astonishing!
The Swiss do these miniature mechanical things best.

Even Asimo, the Honda robot isn't as clever as that clockwork doll, yet it has all the advantages of computer technology.
