Hi and Thanks, I am 52 have an anchor and a smaller one to boot. Just bought a 04 ST1100 ex police a couple of weeks ago from a gentleman in Sydney. Got to say grouse bike, would not have thought that such a heavy bike would be so nimble. Rode it home, so so good absolutely blistering performance. Has 52k,s on it and full history. Came out of service in QLD with 47 on the odo in 07. I would only class my self as a weekend warrior, but brothers have upgraded to some BMWs I didn't want to follow, so here I am, after a lot of research, with the far better choice of bike. Not sure of future plans, only to get out more and enjoy. This is the only shot I have of it at the moment.
Regards Nigel

Good find, Nigel. I mean the Forum, but the bike was an excellent find, too.
The "gentleman" who told you it is a 04 ST1100 was pulling your leg, since the last one was built in 2002.
That said, they last forever, so the year of manufacture is irrelevant.
We'll see more of you in here.
FWIW you're the 796th person to join up.
