I have the ".avi" on a CD.  Only playable on a computer.  There's probably software for converting it to video for TV.
You wanna come and get a copy?     :grin
I picked up mine off Whizz's Dropbox.
Now there's a thought- I'll upload it to my Dropbox then everyone can get a copy.
Just started it.  Will take over an hour at upload speeds.  It's 758mb, so don't try pulling it down to your phone!

OK floks, here's ya movie of the year:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/0iom0vn1a3z5baw/Why%20We%20Ride%20%282013%29.avi (https://www.dropbox.com/s/0iom0vn1a3z5baw/Why%20We%20Ride%20%282013%29.avi)

Don't blame me when you blow your data allowance!   :grin
I get 200 gigs that I use about 1/10th of (a bit more lately, with the wide acceptance of the "bar" jokes).    :p

I have Why we ride saved on 2 pcs but as yet have to transfer it to DVD. Might have to look at doing this sometime but need to get some more dual layer dvds and do a few other movies as well.

We're both lucky that way- the privileged few at this stage.  The upload speed isn't quite as spectacular.

Download 11.46 Mbps, upload 0.96 Mbps

If I pay more I'm offered 25 Mbps down-speed, but for $69/month and 200gb, thistle-do.

that's ADSL speed, that's not NBN

4.9 is getting closer, but still not what i'd call NBN speed

Ballarat has NBN and they are getting 100+ down and 30mb up

Interesting, sounds like your Fibre to the Node, rather then Ballarat's Fibre to the home...

yep you are correct!

I've got optical fibre to the home.  I checked with Telstra, and I'd have to pay $5 more per month to get 25 Mbps or $20 to get 100 Mbps.  So it's money rather than the NBN that's missing.  I whinged that ADSL2 are getting the same speeds for less money and the response was that depends on the load.  When a lot of people are connected the speed goes down, but the NBN conduit can carry a greatly increased volume of traffic with no loss of speed.
So- what I have works fine- I don't need 25 Mbps badly enough to pay another $5 per month.
I lived in PNG where 9600 kbps was bliss when you were lucky enough to get a connection.

I dream of those upload speeds .....    :|||| :|||| :||||  ADSL1 here. 7Mbps Down and .25Mbps up ..... 2 VoIP trunks totaling 5 lines, Exchange server with about 6 external mailboxes (Friends), ClearOS server running another 3 external mailboxes (testing Linux alternative to Exchange) plus "normal usage" ...  before you ask, i have a /30 subnet on my ADSL connection giving me 3 WAN IP Addresses (So I can run 2 mail servers on 1 connection)

That's a great vid.  Well worth pausing at the disclaimers.  His wit is as dry as some of the dust he rides in.
Confirms for me there's a VStrom in my future multi-bike shed (don't tell the Missus!)     |-i
