Title: Sena Communication setup
Post by: Couch on January 05, 2012, 09:41:45 PM
Hey Streak..........................just wondering how the Sena's performing??

Are you still happy with it??.........how do you find the responce time when using as an intercom??  Do the spoken commands come through clearly from your GPS (phone) and if so, do you get the entire command or do you miss out on the first few spoken words??

I have a mate who's thinking about buying one so I'm interested in any info you can supply.

Cheers mate!

Sena works brilliantly, seamlessly with my iPhone, and with the App I use for gps, and with music, slips easily between phone calls and music.

Have only fiddled with intercom, but it works well at home with no lag at all.

Battery life is awesome! Have not been able to flatten it yet, longest Is 6 hours with music on whole time and with phone calls so far and is still going strong.

I can highly recommend it from my uses so far

I can't remember where you brought it from and can't locate your post, do you mind passing on that info again please.

Thanks mate!

Also have a pair of Senas (Seni?), work brilliantly, phone, music and intercom. Very impressed. A max range of about 500 metres line of site on intercom. Easy set up and firmware upgrades, fits into the helmet well. Easy to operate when mobile. No downsides so far for what I need. I like having the set up cable free from the bike. I have found that music has a better frequency response when I am wearing foam ear plugs. Ditto on the battery life, excellent.
