I've been looking to replace our current Igloo eski which we've had since the mid 90's and it will be well passed it's use by date within another year. Some of the new ones don't have insulation in the lid which the Igloo one does and usually a bag of ice would last 3 to 4 days.
I saw this one today which looks promising and after measuring the trailer will be able to sit on the draw bar or in the trailer above the axle depending on load etc.

I have a yellow version of the same thing that I bought from them via ebay. Seems to keep ice pretty well. I bought it to use in my barra fishing tinnie.

Alan, We have a blue one that uses strechy cord to hold the lid closed. The full fiberglass shell versions tend to do a bit better but once they cop a hit and the outer surface is broken then they loose out. The plastic ones are about the same and are better than the standard esky. They all work well with standard ice and the drain hole allows the excess water to be removed wothout opening the lid.
