Post by: Diesel on October 16, 2013, 10:06:22 AM
Caught this news item concerning the laws NOT requiring Vic Police Radar/Cam Units to be visible anymore ......

They've also removed the requirement to limit readings on downhill locations.  So now everyone will go down every hill with their foot on the brake, increasing petrol consumption, greenhouse gases, brake wear, frustration and cynicism.

Nothing new for us. SA contracted most of the speed cams to a private company years ago. The police only operate the ones they have in their cars or on the few bikes they have left.

They've tried wheelie bins here as well. Bit strange seeing a bin beside the road when it's not pick up day.
