I flagged down a blue 1300 on the Roe Highway last Sunday (13th).
He'd never heard of us so I handed him a card and chewed his ear for about an hour telling him what fantastic people we are.
His name's Les and he sounded quite keen so we may see him here soon.
Take care all,
Poppy :wht13

My mate Foxy rode his newly acquired Honda ST1300 home to Nubeena yesterday. It's a 2002 model with 63,000 kls on the clock, fitted with a Honda Topbox, new Michelin tyres, new battery, and hardly a mark anywhere, obviously keep under cover all it's life.
UNFORTUNATELY IT'S :rd13 oh well, can't have everything I guess!! I suppose he could always paint it :wht13 :grin
I hope to have him joined up soon!

Couldnt that be seen as misuse of Govt vehicles Dave??

No Brock, I was on my own bike at the time....................................
Further to this.................................
I walked into the bike shed at work, I'm at TEG's now, and low and behold, there were 3, private, ST's parked amongst the patrol bikes. Needless to say they all ended up with cards left on them.

No mate.
I seriously thought about it for a while, then I was transferred to Police Crash at State Traffic Operations (used to be called Traffic Enforcement Group). I thought hard about it again and then last Sunday I was riding back from Rockingham and it was so bloody hot that I did it in shirt-sleeves and that got me thinking about all the times I had to ride with a jacket, reflective vest, belt, and everything that was attached to it and do that for 8 hours, sometimes in temps approaching/over 40 degrees...................... Then a thought about where I am now, in an airconditioned office and when I have to go out for a crash, it's in an airconditioned car................................... Think I'll stay put for a while.
