I can pick up and hold if anyone gets lucky. Might even deliver depending on where you are, as long as it is an interesting ride or drive.
-
If they sell for anything near that they will be very cheap.
-
Saaz you want to pick them up as there is a wine rack in the background :crackup
They would be good spares if the "price is right".
So far $90.00 the bid price.

Is anybody from OzSTOC bidding for these?
saaz would you be able to hold these until maybe February?
-
No problem with keeping them as long as you want.

Thanks saaz. I don't have a use for them right now but will keep an eye on them and if I can get them for the right price will put them aside should I ever need them.

I gave up at $150, they went for $182.50. Five bidders and the winner was the first bidder.
-
I suspect the bidding might have gone beyond $200 if there had been one other interested party. I was tempted to put up that much as they're worth far more, and the colour is right for me. Storage is a bit of a problem, but if I ever break one, I'll be able to kick myself heartily for not having a go.

I think you are correct, if a person had a use for them now $300 probably would have been a good price. Colour was right for me but had to stop somewhere and maybe there was an ST owner who needed them now, better on their bike then sitting in my shed waiting for me to to need them.

I could see them hanging on the hoist with the car in your man cave being moved once every six months during the cleanup.
-
Just a bit off topic, but I couldn't help thinking; does anyone here use a late bidding tool like EZ Sniper? You just put in the item number, then your top price, and it bids for you at the last minute. Works for me....
-
Ebay does that for you, just put in a maximum and it will bid for you until the bids reach your limit. I am fairly sure the winner did this. I watched it for the last 10 minutes or so. It was also interesting to look at all the bids including the automatic bids.

That is probaly what would have happened. Next week the car has to come off that hoist so a lot of sorting on the list of jobs

I am just waiting for the winning bidder to fess up about buying the panniers, him being a member and all. Someone else also got close but stuffed up over the finishing line.

Good news. Maybe he'll sell a single one to a member if they need it. He could double his money and it would still be a bargain.
