Title: You Just Never know you you run into

It's funny who you run into when your out and about......Here I am with the Queensland Premier Campbell Newman, who I saw this week  :thumb

Had a quick chat with him, explained who i was, and about the club, he was quite good to talk to, and more than happy to have a photo.

What did he have to say when you told him who you were (did he roll his eyes, as I imagine he'd be getting approached alot by bike associations)

no he was actually quite good, said i run a touring motorcycle club, he was quite responsive, didn't take a step back or anything, asked me how it was going, said strength to strength, explained what we do, was only talking to him for a minute or 2.

Asked if it was ok to get a photo, and that i would be posting it up on our website, he said "more than happy to", shook hands and off I went.

Yeah I wouldn't have expected some great debate at an event like that, At least you got to talk to him...and he didn't recoil at the mention of OZSTOC

Thanks mate I appreciate it! Saaz has already rung me to see if i am going to run for politics at some stage

Our Premier is renowned for being short changed in the altitude stakes.
