Whilst the bike is a FJR1300, it may give some of those interested in what may be or could be utilised

I like the idea of the reserve tank but I don't think Heather is willing to give up her seat for quite some time.

Thanks TJ, that's definitely a "mile muncher".

Yeap my Corbin brick seat will be getting transformed in the New Year.

Lionel recommends MJM motor trimming, Goulburn.

Mick at MJM does a very nice seat.....good bloke as well.

I had a chuckle to myself when the author of the video suggests finding those problems with your bike and fixing them.  I've always found that fixing one problem invariably seems to create another....on some bikes more than others!  :grin

I don't think I'd be to impressed with the shape of that seat and on the move it may very well be ok buts look like the outer edges might make it hard to put your feet on the ground.

It's really sad when a custom seat has to be modified to make it comfortable!!

Paul Peloquin, eh?  Well he would certainly know what he's talking about!

The FJR is certainly a very popular bike among the IBA and general DR community.  The took out 5 of the top 6 finishers in this year's Rally (the one that does 11,000 miles in 11 days).

In 8th place was a 1998 ST1100.  The ST1300s were in 12th and 22nd places (out of 108 starters).
