Title: North Queensland RTE
Post by: Sabie on December 22, 2013, 08:02:44 PM
North Queensland had an impromptu RTE Sunday the 22nd December. Some apologies were received due to Holidays, work commitments and the late notice of the ride.

Tackleberry and Boxhead (Reece) Chrislee (Grasshopper) and Mrs Chrislee and myself Sabie mustered for a ride from Townsville to the Sugar Port of Lucinda. Tackleberry was in a very happy mood as he's just started 5 Weeks of leave (lucky buggar).

So it was burgers and fish and chips overlooking the Lucinda Jetty, as seen in the photo, it's 6km long and still not in use after being damaged by Cyclone Yasi.

I think this is the first North Queensland RTE that wasn't dominated by red ST's.     :grin

Oh, and don't be fooled by the flag, it's North Queensland, Far North Queensland is a big further up the coast, sorry Cairns but that's what we got.

Nice work chaps - looks like a lovely NQ day for a ride.
I'm curious to know how a certain semi-retired someone can be jealous of Tackleberry starting holidays  :law

Ceribrial, so long as it wasn't in a pine box you're fine...

Oh, say, what happened to the Silver Fox, I'm starting to think there might be a bit of Freudian multiple personalities happening here.  Have you sought any medical or professional help?  :grin

I fear you might be right Dr Sabie regarding the 2 distinctly different   " states of mind "   identified in your elegantly worded diagnosis. In laymans terms though i suspect you mean the boy is just plain batshit crazy.
It is my professional opinion my esteemed colleauge that only long periods of isloation inside shoei helmets           (1 for each personality ) on the open road can make these 2 seperate entities co-exist in blissful harmony.
I dare say this will be discussed at length at the upcoming national convention at Ballarat where the leading minds in this field will be in residence.
We will discuss who shall pay the randsom for the  :hijacked at a later date ....

Cerebral, if you can do me a favor?

Can you and the Silver Fox locate a dear friend of mine, his name is Duncan. I'm sure Duncan will be able to assist you as he's stable and well Balanced. Ya Fruitloop
