He obviously loves his trailer, judging by the value he's put on it.  The large spoked wheels are a great idea for reduced rolling friction.  It probably carries a fair bit, being tall.

BTW, Turtle, Tripod has lost your avatar.  You can host it on the forum so it only goes down when the forum does (about once a week lately).    :grin

While it may be very practical, I think it's the ugliest bike trailer I've ever seen.    :o

Got the little brain ticking.
couple of 17 front motorcycle spoked rims might be the ideal trailer wheel.
Rolling resistance would be low, just need to figure out the axle.
