Well, it starts tomorrow. The wife, Loppie, is doing her Stay Upright Course tomorrow and Tuesday. Is also doing the "L's" test on Tuesday arvo. Poor dear is sweating it but keen to get out and about. Cannot knock her for that. Guess I'm up for some serious local riding till she finds her feet. At least with the Sena I can follow and talk to her at the same time.

All day Saturday Chris. She likes the Suzuki Inazuma, Intruder and CBR500R. A bag full of mixed lollies.

It's a no-brainer. There's only one Honda there...

My partner just started riding as well, she ended up with a scooter (if you can call something 500cc, and has 3 wheels a scooter - http://www.gilerafuoco.com/index.html?lang=eng (http://www.gilerafuoco.com/index.html?lang=eng) ) as her first 'bike' and in the last two months has racked up about 3000km so far.
Her goal, to ride to Melbourne with me to the National Rally in march. She did her first distance ride of 450km each way a few weeks back, no problems!
There are some really nice learner bikes out there now, so its worth looking around :)
The Sena headset is a great thing, as is a go-pro mounted to your bike, so you can show her what she is doing wrong, and what she could do better after each ride.
Most of all, I hope she enjoys it :)

CBR500R......way to go!! :thumbsup

Nothing wrong with scooters. A mate of mine once had his ST1300 described as a scooter. What a crack up. Needless to say he hasn't lived it down.. :grin

I just had a peasant ask me what kind of BMW mine is!
It took the ambulance ages to arrive for him.

I still get that question about mine every couple months.
And is it a six? comes up sometimes after you tell'em it's a Honda.

We finished up with the CB500F. Nice little machine, I muST say. Told her it was an ST500F, she's happy with that.

That would win any argument! Good man. :thumbsup

I've always thought the Honda NT650v Deauville was like a LAMS ST. It's on the LAMS list.

So proud of my girl. Said she wanted to go for her first night ride. She led the way and we rode for an hour and a half. Covered Cobbitty, Camden West, Camden, Narellan, Catherine Field, Leppington, Denham Court and Ingleburn. She went so well and her cornering is getting exceptional. Confidence is up and she is just blitzing it.
Gotta say my helmet is getting tight.
:clap :clap :clap
