Title: Drive train backlash

Hi all,
This is more a curiosity question than anything else. I am in the temporary mancave with the other woman planning the next farkel. The bike is on the centre stand with the rear wheel off the ground so I took the opportunity to test the overall drivetrain backlash. (Ie move the wheel back and forth). Is there a spec for this and what is normal?

There's bound to be a spec, and "a fair bit" is normal.

If you thrash the STs (heaven forbid) it's the drive train that lets you know you're flogging too hard.
