Hi William from Toowoomba Queensland

They are a great bike but you need to find out yourself how good they are.

Hello Bill,
And welcome to the club, there will be the right bike out there for you for sure! If you find a bike not in your area, and want someone to take a look, just post up about it and see if someone is free
Keep an eye on the events section as we have lots of events in Victoria, including our national rally which is in march!
-
You're doubly (or triply) lucky- named "Bill", chose an ST and found this Forum! :clap
The Honda ST has few equals for the money. There are a fair few ST1100s with less than 100,000 kays for around $5000 and ST1300s with less than 50,000 for around $9000. Don't limit yourself to Victorian bikes for sale. There are folk all over the country happy to run an experienced eye over a bike you see advertised, and some here have had their first ride on their new bike across a few states to get it home. We also recently sent a bike by transport from Brisbane to Perth for a reasonable cost.
We're a great bunch in here. And then there's Brock and Diesel and... :grin

Once again thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
To Biggles (Bill in Brissie), If I find an interstate bike, I look forward to riding back on it. I have made an inquiry on one that is listed on here for sale that is up your way. I am just not sure if it would have been sold yet as the ad has been there a while.
As to the colour. I was being diplomatic in my last reply (Being new and all), I will say I like them all, although leaning to the blue as a preference.
Bill.
