Title: Near new ST1300 on the market
Post by: Couch on February 04, 2014, 07:56:38 PM
A mate of mine dropped in to a Suzuki dealership in Hobart today just a rider was about to ride away on his brand new "Suzuki Boulevard", and guess what he traded in on it..............would you believe, a Honda ST1300 with 2000kls on the clock that he brought brand new only two months ago. My friend got talking to the guy and he said he absolutely loved the bike but found it too difficult to move around in the garage and afraid he was going to drop the bike. I don't know how much they gave him as a trade in, or how much they're going to sell it for, but I'll try and find out if anyone should be interested. It's black and is fitted with a Honda topbox, my friend said it's immaculate....as one would expect it to be!! :grin

Some people have waaaay too much money.
I would have thought the Boulevarde would be even longer than the ST when it came to turning around.  Sure they're lower, but it's a cruiser, for crying out aloud!
I guess it's a case of what you want to do.  Show or go.  The two sizes of Boulevardes have plenty of grunt, but the ST isn't lacking in that area.

So if he can't manage a 300kg light weight 1300 how's he going manage 347 kg for the Suzi.

Then there's the almost 10 litre less fuel tank capacity as well.

Isn't that the runout price dealers were offering for brand new ones not long ago?

Look at it this way- here's a second chance to nab one at the run-out price.    :grin

There's a 2008 candy ST1300 ABS

 :13Candy

at Bullet Bikes, Mackay, looks in very good condition for $13990.  I was very impressed by it, just don't have $13990.

I think it also had a bit to do with seat height when stationary!

I think it also had a bit to do with seat height when stationary!

Now he can sit with his chin on his knees on the Boulevard.
