Title: Wanted - Postie Bike Urgently
Post by: ST2UP on February 05, 2014, 09:12:49 AM
Have a mate here at work who is participating in the below Postie Bike Charity challenge......

As you can see it is a great cause and supports Neonatal Intensive Care and the Westpac Rescue helicopter.

My colleague Murry has registered and raised the required entry fee and more.......but here is the kicker, the Postie Bike he was to use has fallen through........so I'm putting the call out there for anyone who has or could locate a Postie bike for Murry to hire/loan etc......he will collect from anywhere between Brisbane and Sydney and return to you serviced and in good order etc.

25 people are undertaking the ride that has now closed for registration in its inaugural year......

OX-34 is a generous soul, but might be too emotionally attached to his 600 km range modified Postie.
You could PM him on behalf of Murray to sounds him out on the possibility, but I wouldn't push it to hard.

I could ask my postie as he rides past but he probably doesn't like walking.

There's some ratty ODO readings there.  How can they be asking the same money for one with over 300,000 km as one with less than 30,000?  Then there's the one with zero kays, but the photo shows 28,000.
How about the sidecar outfit!?  Poor little Postie.  I know they are flat out doing 70, but they're claiming 80 with the sidecar.  Don't think so.
Must all be ex-PO, having such similar ODOs.  Bit surprised they only want 30,000 kays but it might be because they're about to replace them all with the next-gen green  :well ones.
