I have tried a search on here but can't find anything
I have also tried google but not happy with the results
Does anyone know where I can purchase second hand bike jackets ? On line or in Brisbane?
Helmets will of course be brand new but the other clothing does not have to be.
Daughter is 8 but takes at least a kids size 12 and the boy is about size 10.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Yah saw them and they look like the best bet for brand new but I would have thought there would be a market for second hand kids stuff.

We found when our young bloke was growing and into motocross bikes the kids lived on gear that older kids had outgrown, by the time the gear had been recycled a few times it was buggered and not worth or safe to sell.

I went brand new for my daughter's jacket, just got it a couple of sizes too big. She's still wearing it now 3 years later. For under $100, can't complain.

think I'll go new and do as others have done and get new but a little bigger than needed and the two kids can share as I can only take one at a time ...... unlike they often do as they do in Asia and have 7 people on the one bike!

I emailled that company asking for measurements, because "S" etc means nothing. She just rang and I asked her to email me the numbers. It would seem bleeding obvious that if you want to sell online you need to give useful information online.
I'll post the measurements up here if they come and are helpful.

OK, info back from Bikers' Gear regarding $89 children's jackets:
S is 28" chest, 21.5" long and sleeve armpit to cuff 15.5"
M is 30" chest, 21" long and sleeve 16"
L is 32" chest, 21.5" long and sleeve 16.5"
XL is 34" chest, 22" long and sleeve 17"
2XL is 36" chest, 23" long and sleeve 18"
3XL is 38" chest, 24" long and sleeve 19"

Their jacket sizes do not match up with their recommendations.
For my measurement I should have ordered a XL, but after fitting ok into Yorkie's M i thought i would go for a L. Should have gone for M.
I can't remember exact measurements and when i went to check their website it seems to be finding no items under textile jackets.

No.. I now have a jacket that every so often i fold the kevlar padding at the back around a bit to fit into my back rather than act as wings and I also bought a pair of their gloves but although I am a L in Dryrider, it seems I should be XL in these.
Not worth the hassle and postage to send back so I just put up with it. The gloves only get used once every so often to make me feel like I didn't waste my money but only for short stints.
The joy of buying online to save few $$ .. mind you, at the special price they had I could have bought 2 for the same price as buying one here in the shops.
