Post by: sargent on February 27, 2014, 06:57:40 PM
When you cant hold up your bike any longer, try this simple DIY mod at home from handy bits laying around.

Must have a long drive shaft going back into the original car transmission.  Maybe uses long linkages into the car's gearbox, or just locked in one gear and uses the bike's gearbox.
Whatever, Frankenstein would be proud!

Biggles, since the bike has no motor and the car is front wheel drive?? just linkages/extension of cables etc would be nearly all you want.  K's per litre would be interesting.  :think1

Seeing as how it still uses the Neon engine for motive power, I would have thought that putting the bike wheel at the back and steering with front wheels would have been a better idea.   :whistle
Have seen a Subaru with bike wheel at back, but could not see a reason to cut up a car and bike to make something that was not as good as either original vehicle.
