Hey all, thought I'd better take some time to introduce myself & our boy.  I've been reading through the OzSTOC since Shiney grabbed me by the side of the road a couple of weeks back.

This is my first ST and very happy with him, it feels good to have a big bike under my but again!  We bought him a couple of weeks ago, a black (if it ain't black, take it back!) 97 ST1100 with a few km's under his belt (171Km's) and so far very happy.  I've even managed to run up another 2,000+ on him in the past few weeks.   I've ridden for many years on all sorts of bikes from cruisers to sportsers and love to ride. Really love classic thumpers, old is gold as they say.

I've spent a bit of time out of Oz the last few years, building and running a bikers/travellers bar in Nepal.  Yeah, random I know.  Lots of fun.  Lees (the better half and far better looking one) and I came back to Oz for a bit till our next adventure. We run motorcycle tours in Nepal and are finishing off our new website (www.anarchyadventures.com (http://www.anarchyadventures.com)) when its ready would love your feedback.

Great to spread our diversity even further.  M/C tours of Nepal, eh?  Now that's an interesting venture.  I'll bet you won't be using STs!  The suitable roads there wouldn't go far out of town.
Welcome here, and be sure to tell us about your adventures.  They'd be a book there, I'm sure.

Hi Nate, welcome!

It's very interesting that your black beauty is a "he". If we lived closer I would introduce him to my Little Miss.

I wonder what their offspring would be? ;-)

Great intro mate :thumbsup and your website appears to be coming along nicely :thumbs (Needs more pictures though :grin)

Anyway I'm looking forward to hearing more about your adventures around Nepal and hopefully we catch up soon at a RTE :eat
