They are a brilliant light at 6000lumens but the price is a killer. I do believe Lionel on a recent Trans Continental ride was using the Ericas???
For those wanting something just a little more sedate http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SL3919 (http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SL3919)
3500 lumen which in my limited experience is more than enough if aligned correctly and if run with a 3 way toggle and IQ Skene controller. And the ST's are well designed for the additional lighting  :thumbs

But then TJ, you are far more serious a rider than my good self  :-++

Brookster has posted a good bit of information regarding the Jaycar lights, more so with the use of the IQ Skeene controller, this allows the lights to be dimmed to suit conditions.  Around US$50 plus postage to OZ. This facility is already part of the Clearwater setup and comes standard with all the required wiring, bolts etc, in each version of their lights.

If you are using the jaycar lights in the spot version you will get around 378 meters out front (just for interest the HID spot is around 700 Meters out front).  The Clearwater LED's that I use are not designed as spots but will push the light out in a broad beam possibly out to 300m

The Clearwater Erica is possibly top of the range for lighting.  I run two sets of Clearwater light on my bike neither is the Erica, and a set of HID spots and HID headlights, hae I got enough light for my rides.....possibly not >:()

Yes, Lionel had the Ericas on.  He was thinking of mounting the Lightforceforce lights back on as well, but don't think he is now.

Great looking lights, but well outside my budget.
