Gday All.
New to this kind of thing but this site seems to be a good one so thought I would jump in and give it a try.
From the Central Wheatbelt town of Bakers Hill, WA.
Been riding an ST1300 for a couple of years now and have to say I still enjoy it. Great weather protection, great manoeuvrability, plenty of power and comfortable to sit on all day long.
Look forward to getting to know you guys and gals.

Wow! Another Westie. The trend is definitely to the west. We'll have to go there soon on an official visit to make sure all these bikes and new members really exist and you're not just trying to out-do Queensland.
Welcome to the Forum- you'll soon get the hang of the place. :beer

Yes mate very comfortable. Is an old Police bike and has a very soft seat. Much softer than many of the other STs I have ridden. The thing that annoys me the most about the bike is the amount of heat that comes up through the tank.
-
You may be able to line the tank (it called the shelter by the way) with some of the silver covered insulation matting

Or get some highway pegs and get your legs out of the way. But I think the Police are a little different where you attach
one of the Police ST1300 owners will know more

G'day Trevsta, welcome to the forum mate :hatwave

I had the same issue with the tank heating up, the fix for me was adding a Bagster tank cover, it works a treat :thumbsup
