The place with the best prices and selection is in WA......Prestige communications  :like now the catch is to select one  :whistle the difference between a cheapie and a really good one is negligible.

I come from a Comms background many moons ago and in my humble opinion the best mobile aerials are made by RFI.....a CD51 would work best for most general motorcycle Comms, but the following by GME is that close you wouldn't notice the difference.....

Where do you plan to mount the Aerial ?? If your plan is to go beside the Topbox......then an elevated feed aerial would be a better option but price does increase......this would be the best choice, http://www.prestigecom.net.au/RFI-Explorist-3-6-5dbi-UHF-CB-Antenna-Package (http://www.prestigecom.net.au/RFI-Explorist-3-6-5dbi-UHF-CB-Antenna-Package) and this one a cheaper version of the RFI brand by Uniden, and again you wouldn't notice the difference in your application  http://www.prestigecom.net.au/Uniden-AT870-6-5-dbi-3dbi-UHF-CB-Antenna-Package (http://www.prestigecom.net.au/Uniden-AT870-6-5-dbi-3dbi-UHF-CB-Antenna-Package)

The smaller stumpy aerial screws on for hilly terrain and convenice around town ( I use this 90% of the time) and the longer aerial for the VERY open flat terrain.....

Great advice  :thumb just what I would have said.

One last thing though , what UHF is it to go with??, if its for a "Handheld" you may need a special connector

It will be for a GME 3500.

I use an elevated feed 6Db (long one), it works fine around the hills, bettewr than I expected. I was able to talk to Ray on Kallamunda rd from the Gt eastern in Midland. about 20 Ks.

Prestige is the place to go.  They dont carry the adapter lead for the SR10 tho.
