G'day all, I'm Dave and am new to the group. Been checking some of the posts and info here and am really liking what I see. I'm on my second STeed now and have nothing negative to report about either of them, except to say that they don't like concrete culverts much, well my '99 didn't. Lots of great info and answers here and I'm looking forward to having some of my own answered. Cheers everyone, looking forward to it.

Thanks for the welcome guys,
Does anyone have knowledge/experience with wind deflectors, i.e., for hands & legs? I'm considering for my '95 ST.
Cheers

welcome on in Dave, enjoy your time on the forum :beer

Welcome Dave. My Suzuki GT750 did not like culverts either, so it is not only an ST thing.

Wild Rose,
It's a long story but the short version is I was on a trip cross country in '09 with two others. Made it up to Swan Hill after a lot of sight seeing, fairly tired and hungry that night so went out late on the ST to get some something eat and woke up 2 hours later at the base of a culvert surrounded by police and ambulance. Don't know what happened.
:H
Nigel,
My '99 was blue and my current '95 is that greenish blue.

Hi Dave. Lucky you signed on as reSTraint. We don't have enough room for another Dave. Me thinks "Culvert" may have been coming your way as an appropriate moniker. Welcome mate.

"Tired and hungry". You didn't fall asleep by any chance? Glad you didn't blame the ST, and got anotheree.
Welcome on board. There's a few greenish-blue ones around- not many.

I could have, Biggles. That's all I can think of since I hadn't been drinking or tearing around with my hair on fire. Regardless, I wouldn't dream of blaming the STeed. It was absolutely brilliant (baring post culvert).
