Can you define "twitchy" ???
Is it following road grooves? or as you ride it suddenly goes off in it's own direction?
As you turn is it notching? Any noises?

Hi.
possably road grooves, seems to be on knife edge, have to hold bars tight and correct a bit left to right only small bit to keep it in line. then again i can hold bars one handed, light to steer smooth but still wanders no waggel.

Stem head not over tight? Sounds like a tightness problem where you have to keep making adjustments on the straight. Do your wheels also spin freely when off the ground?

Did you replace your front axle (no tyre) with the yoke finger tight, so you could re align the forks to your axle.

I will try and find the reading material and post.

You should do the same with the rear as well, just lightly loosen the 4 nuts on the rear drive housing, align axle with tyre on and tighten.

I think Greencan mentioned something like this a while ago.
